ANALISIS FAKTOR KECELAKAAN PADA PERLINTASAN KERETA API DI SIMPANG EMPAT LOHONG KOTA PARIAMAN

At the railway crossing on Bagindo Aziz Chan Lohong road, Pariaman City, West Sumatra, we can find railway crossings that often occur accidents. The author uses the problem limitation only on the factors that cause accidents at railway crossings. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that cause accidents and ways to prevent accidents at the railway crossing at intersection four Lohong, Pariaman City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. This research was carried out with the first step is to find data by making direct observations to the field in order to find out what caused the accident, and get accident data from the Pariaman City police station. The data is analyzed using SPSS. From the results of the analysis of factors that cause accidents obtained by human factors in the category with an average of 55%. And from the correlation results, it was also found that the number of victims caused by human factors correlated quite influential with a value of (r) 0.417, From the results of the correlation caused by facilities and infrastructure correlated quite influential with a value of (r) 0.224.
