ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN TEBAL PERKERASAN LENTUR MENGGUNAKAN METODE BINA MARGA 2017 DAN METODE ANALISA KOMPONEN 1987 (STUDI KASUS RUAS JALAN PEGAMBIRAN – SIMANINGGIR KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT)

Roads are a means of land transportation used by road users as a transfer route from one place to another and also play a very important role in supporting economic growth. For this reason, it is necessary to increase road capacity that meets the elements of road user safety and does not disturb the surrounding ecosystem which goes hand in hand with the increasing need for transportation facilities so that it can reach small areas. However, at present there are many damaged roads, such as the Pegambiran-Simaninggir road located in the Koto Balingka sub-district, West Pasaman district. At some point this road has never been repaired since it was built until now, the condition of the road is getting worse and the road has been given sirtu so that it is not too bad and easy for motorists to pass. Taking this title aims to calculate the thickness of flexible pavement using the 2017 Bina Marga method and the 1987 Component Analysis method. Calculations to determine the thickness of this road pavement use two methods, namely the 2017 Highways method and the 1987 component analysis method. Calculations for pavement This road begins with calculating vehicle traffic, calculating soil data and calculating the thickness of the pavement for each method. For the 2017 Highways method, a layer of 40 mm AC WC, 60 mm AC BC, 400 mm LPA Class A was obtained. The 1987 component analysis method obtained 50 mm laston, 200 mm class A crushed stone, and 100 mm class B sirtu.
